We are currently in the planning stages for projects in the 2011/2012 school year. We look forward to working with students and teachers in the TLDSB again!
Creative Paths is a collaborative initiative that includes the Arts Council of Muskoka, the Muskoka Lakes Music Festival and the Huntsville Festival of the Arts. The mission of Creative Paths is "to expose Muskoka Secondary School students to creative career opportunities, engage them in the creative process, and increase preparedness for integration into Muskoka's Creative Economy."

Creative Paths was a partner in the "Entering the Waters" project at Huntsville High School in June 2010 (see Previous Projects for details).

Most recently Creative Paths organized and hosted the CreativeSHIFT Symposium. This day-long event was open to local high school students as well as the general public. The goals of CreativeSHIFT were to:
Increase awareness of the importance of developing a Creative Economy (sustainable economy) in Muskoka, and highlight the opportunities that will be created as a result
Emphasize the vital role that arts & culture play in developing a sustainable prosperous economy
Encourage and foster arts-infused learning, creativity and innovation within the education system, thereby developing 21st century learning skills for youth
The event included an address by keynote speaker Dev Aujla, a creative economy career fair, workshops, hands-on activities, performances and an evening reception featuring local food from Savour Muskoka.
